There are many options that are offered in Trogir and in the island of Ciovo. Most of these activities can be found in Trogir, but also in the municipality of Okrug Gornji on Ciovo. Times when the sun and the sea were the only thing that was offered to tourists are long gone. More and more travel agencies create interesting offers. These are some of the options for you when you are in Trogir and Ciovo island.

Things to do in Trogir and on the island of Ciovo


We recommend two routes: ride near the nearby islands and around the town of Trogir. Route around Trogir is 7 kilometers long (4.5 miles), and takes about three hours. Second route begins in Seget Donji. From Seget continues to Trogir and back towards to Seget.

Trogir is surrounded by the sea, so you will be able to see the whole city from a different perspective. Instead you walk to your guide through the crowded streets of the city, you can get the interesting information in this way. You can find out real live story about the history and its cultural heritage. Don't be afraid that kayak is too demanding! You will get a chance to stop whenever you get tired. You can relax on the beach and freshen up in the Adriatic. You can also choose between morning and afternoon trips.

Another route begins in the port in Seget Donji. First there is a one-hour drive from Drvenik to the island. From there you will go on 7 kilometers (4.5 miles) long journey. While you're at Drvenik do not miss to visit the beautiful beach Blue Lagoon and swim in the crystal clear waters. You will feel like you are in a tropical paradise in the middle of the Adriatic Sea. Previous experience is not necessary, because the length of the route is not too demanding. Minimum age is eight years, so this can be a great family trip. Prices range between 35 and 45 Euros. Most agencies will in this price include a drink or even a light meal in one of the many restaurants and bars along the beach. Most trips are available from mid-May until the end of September.


Trogir is one of the best places to visit. Do not stop there, but discover this amazing town by bike ! If you want to explore nearby towns and villages rent a bike is a great idea. You can rent bikes at many places in Trogir and Ciovo island. It is even possible to deliver the bike to the door of your apartment. You can rent bikes of different sizes suitable for all ages, and this can turn into a fun family vacation. The most charming paths for cycling on Ciovo island leads through villages of Slatine and Okrug Gornji. You can also drive to Trogir and continue to Sevid. Prices for renting a bike range between 15 and 20 Euros per day. Protective helmet is included, but be sure to bring water, a hat and sunscreen.

Riding a bike, you will have the opportunity to visit the uninhabited parts of the island. There is a beautiful trail along two kilometers long beach in Okrug Gornji. It is full of bars along the beach where you can stop and refresh yourself. There you will find many restaurants serving traditional dishes and light lunches, and is not required to carry your own food.
